These photos captures more than a moment. It represents the values we bring to work every day: hard work, accountability, and taking care of our neighbors. We’re proud of where we come from, who we serve, and the team that makes RC Disposal what it is.
At RC Disposal, we believe great service starts with genuine care — for our customers, our community, and the work we do every single day. Based in Island Lake, Illinois, we’re a local, family-owned company that’s redefining what reliable waste service looks like: honest pricing, friendly faces, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
For owner Andy Schweinsberg, waste management isn’t just a business it’s a lifelong passion built on family tradition. Andy grew up around trucks, tools, and hard work, learning the ropes at just 15 years old while working alongside his father, Steven Schweinsberg, the founder of Prairieland Disposal. From 2008 to 2021, Andy did it all, from turning wrenches and driving routes to managing operations and in the process, he learned that success comes down to simple things: honesty, reliability, and respect for the people you serve. In early 2024, Andy took everything his father taught him and started a new chapter, RC Disposal. His goal was clear: to create a company that feels local because it is local.
One that treats every customer like a neighbor, every pickup like a promise, and every day like an opportunity to do better than the last. Today, RC Disposal proudly serves our surrounding communities with dependable waste and recycling solutions, handled by a team that truly cares. We’re not the biggest company out there and that’s exactly how we like it. It means we can stay connected, stay accountable, and keep our focus where it belongs: on our customers. For Andy, RC Disposal is more than a name on a truck it’s a continuation of his family’s legacy of hard work, community, and pride in a job well done. RC Disposal, built from the ground up, rooted in family, and driven to serve our neighbors with honesty and heart.
